Please visit us at Toy Fair 2016 in New York City February 13-16 -- we are rolling out Xtronaut: The Game of Solar System Exploration. Meet Dante Lauretta at the show and explore our meteorite collection. We are at Booth 6414 at the Javits Center.
Xtronaut develops and supports innovative education-based initiatives and outreach programs associated with the OSIRIS-REx Mission, as well as other robotic space exploration missions.
OSIRIS-REx is a NASA funded mission designed to launch (2016) an unmanned vehicle to rendezvous with an asteroid (2018), collect a sample from the asteroid and conduct various experiments, and return the sample to Earth (2023).
Founded by OSIRIS-REx Principal Investigator Dr. Dante Lauretta, and Space Entrepreneur Mike Lyon, Xtronaut delivers to schools unique STEM education programs designed to engage and inspire students to pursue learning in science, engineering, and math. Xtronaut's programs link STEM education to actual space missions in a new and exciting way and create a pathway for students to pursue related learning and careers.
Xtronaut is led by scientific, education, and space leaders interested in advancing public understanding of space exploration.
